5 Easy Eco-Resolutions Anyone Can Keep

April 22nd was Earth Day and many of you may have done something “green” to celebrate. That is great, but we decided to wait a couple weeks after Earth Day to send this blog as an important reminder: If we are going create a better tomorrow for this planet, every day needs to be Earth Day. No matter who you are, we all need to do more to green our daily routine.
Like New Years, Earth Day can be a time to commit to goals and create new habits. But like New Years, these resolutions often fall to the wayside after a couple weeks. Statistics show that after 6 months, less than half the people who made New Years resolutions are still sticking to them.
It’s not too late to late to set some realistic eco-resolutions, though. Perhaps that resolution to bike to work 40 miles away isn’t working out (especially since you live in Chicago where its rainy season). But there are many small, super easy changes you can make that have a HUGE impact. Below are five. We challenge you to pick at least a couple and try to keep them for the next month. To get some support and encouragement, join our Facebook community and post some pics!
1: Shop like an Eco-Superhero: Buy more organic. Avoid GMOs.
(Check out reviews of some of our favorite new “Better for You/ Better for the World" Products)
2. Go Vegan for AT LEAST one day a week.
(Check out these recipes from vegan chef, Jessie Miner)
3. Ditch the Disposables. Join our Reusable Challenge.
4. Save H20 with out Sacrificing.
5. Shop Secondhand (unless they are organic).
